There were lots of limbs down from recent ice storms and I had to work my way around them.
We crossed a couple little run-off streams and one time I totally jumped to the other side!
I am always out in front blazing the trail!
Parts of the lake were still completely ice covered but here the water was high and wavy from the wind.
This is the beach at the campground! I don't like to swim but I sure do like the beach! Look at all the Canada Goose tracks in the sand. Lucky for them they had already flown away because I would've herded them all! I was super excited and got major zoomies - dad filmed it - listen to him laughing and out of breath - you would think HE was the one doing the zooming! LOL!
We were all three muddy and tired when we got back in the car but what an awesome day!!

Excellent adventure little buddy! So glad your Dad captured the zoomies! I was laughing out loud (even though I watched without the sound, so I can't laugh at your Dad at all! because Katie was SLEEPING and I didn't want to wake her!)...anyway I was laughing out loud which in the end DID wake up Katie who is now barking at me because I was enjoying ANOTHER DOG!!! Not allowed!

How sweet it is to watch you zipping around on the shore, Ricky. Marge needs a day like this to just "be a dog"..I feel like between my busy schedule and our trial schedule, we haven't had as much fun, relaxing time together as I would like. Maybe the weather will be nice tomorrow and we can hit the beach too...
Hi Ricky, I think we can be very good friends as I run exactly like you when I am happy or well, excited! I can't stopped making the round and round zoomies and my humans kept on saying I am just like you when they watched your video. I like to catch the water and run away from it and then I try to catch it again. My mom promised me that she will take me and Rosie to the beach that I went last year again in April. Oh, I can't wait!!!

I LOVED watching Ricky do those zoomies, he looked so happy and free, what a cutie pie. He must like having his mom AND dad taking him on adventures! It looks like a wonderful place and so glad we got to see video!
Woah, that was dizzying to watch! Ricky is so fast when he's zooming; he makes one of my two look like even more of a slowcoach (Lola thinks she could take 'im, though she doesn't have his zoomies stamina!). What a lovely place to walk, too. :)

Wow! You can really zoom! There were an awful lot of geese prints on that beach. But with the way you could move I believe you could have handled the herding :)
