If you post the good, you also have to post the bad (HDTC Trial Saturday)

Not a good day today....

More about it some time maybe.

Gotta zoom!

I really dont think your runs were that bad. one thing I think you should do and maybe you have already done it. Watch the video on slow motion. Its concerning that Ricky is going around doubles and triples. And when he does take them, he almost stops before he jumps. Makes me think injury. Have you noticed anything else at home? He didnt do the weaves either, very unlike him. I dont think I ever remember he not doing the weaves. Just a thought. Diana

I haven't seen the video, but I'm sorry it wasn't a good day. Still, maybe Ricky had fun anyway? I hope you both did!

First of all RICKY WE STILL LOVE YOU!
Now for Mom's first thought...I was thinking the same as Diana...could his ham strings be tight? It appeared he was hesitant and running with a shortend stride more of a trot than a run.
It looked like when he exited the weave early he was trying to keep up.
Other than that he was still wanting to follow instructions.

Just my thoughts.

My memory is bad, but it seems like the last trial you went to, didn't he come up lame? Even though it seemed to work itself out for that weekend, I think it might be worth it to get him checked out and make sure he hasn't injured something.

I agree with Diana, the runs didn't look that bad, but the fact that he's refusing not only the double and triple, but the weaves concerns me. The weaves especially suprised me, I don't think I can remember ever seeing Ricky miss them. :-(

Sorry to say, I agree with Diana and Marie. He really seems to be hesitating on the jumps, which he hasn't done in the past.

Even in yestersay's video, I felt like he was hesitant to jump sometimes.

I know when Oreo was injured, he would still run and play with his ball like a mad man, even though he was hurting. Then, he'd come up limping later in the day.

But after reading some previous comments, we're quite worried about you. We hope that nothing physically is wrong with you!!

Do you think it is because of what you know now?
