Diana suggested I try a toy with real rabbit fur to see if Ricky would like it more. So I got a couple of rabbit tugs from Clean Run last week when they had a buy one, get one sale.
Ricky is not sure what to make of the bunny. He carefully smelled it and by the second time he saw it, he was getting pretty excited. But he still seems too respectful of the bunny and doesn't bite down hard on the fur. The video is from his third time seeing it - I did edit it down because you don't need to see or hear 3 minutes of me being ridiculous. This video is plenty long. :)
He really likes it when the bunny gets away.

Ricky sure was having a good time!
Oreo really loves those toys, but he doesn't want me to play with them. He just wants to rip the fur out of the toy :)
Chewy can't play with them...he gets the zoomies whenever I pull it out, and can't stop zooming long enough to tug on it.
Isn't it funny how every dog is so different?
Ricky is so cute! It seems he likes the rabbit fur a lot.
We don't have any real rabbit fur toys so I don't know how Eva will react to it. She likes tugs and that's what we play every evening. She will bring me one of her toys and tells me to play with her.
That's so cool! Seems like you should be able to use it as a reward when he does agility. He's definitely playing!

Yay for you and Ricky!! Looks like he really likes it. I have to hide mine because my dogs are like Sara's and will rip the fur out if given the chance.
WOW how cool, that is so awesome, he was so into watching that bunny, and definitely seems to me to love that game and playing with you, well done!!!!! His whole body is totally ready to go ;-) its fun to watch
