Not a Wordless Wednesday

Yesterday we went to our last class of this session. We ran a short course and then did sections of the course again and I jumped 8". I didn't have any trouble jumping but there were no spread jumps for me to try. There were some interesting handling challenges - especially for big dogs who ran fast. I did a couple fast weaves and one real slow set of weaves and some fast dogwalks. Sorry for not describing the handling and the options etc. I know I am letting you guys down if you were hoping for a lesson. Maybe next session there will be more concrete stuff to talk about. It starts May 17th and the new turf will be in the training building.

It just rains and rains here so we haven't been any where and haven't done any practicing outside. Last Thursday we had a one-day break in the weather - the sun was out, the sky was blue, the flowers were blooming, and mom and I went to the park. We also took some pictures from our garden. The first three photos are from here and the rest are from the park.

Our Easter was very nice! It was cloudy and cool but it didn't rain non-stop so Wilson and I did get to play our version of fetch a few times. It was fun but exhausting! That Wilson loves his tennis ball and I love to bark at him!

Hope it is dry and sunny where you are!

Gotta zoom!

Your flowers are gorgeous! Love the ones from the park too. The last one of Ricky is a great shot. We've been getting lots of rain here too! :(

We've lucked out...lots of rain, but it all happens in the middle of the night.

Your flowers are several weeks ahead of ours! And gorgeous! You guys must live in zone 6?

All it's been doing is raining here, too. The grass, fully hydrated, is way too tall now for doing agility, anyway! Have to wait 'til its mowed. (Not that Marge really likes to do agility in her own backyard, anyway..)

We are also having so much rain and tornados - what a crazy mixed up season we are having. Your flowers look so pretty though and in no time you will be out playing in your garden

Glad you had a good Easter, the flowers are so beautiful, I can not wait to hear how the new turf is and what you guys think of it, we have never run on anything but dirt, sand, or grass-usually half dead clumpy grass, I wonder how we would do on some of the other surfaces available.

We've been having lots of rain & storms over here in Malaysia too. A few days ago a lightning struck just above our house & blew out our internet modem. It was the most brightest lightning & loudest thunder we have ever encountered. Crazy stuff.

Hope it stops raining there! It really pissed Rico off too, because it means no playing outside! That's a really nice park, those flowers are so pretty! It's been cloudy and there have been a bit of rumbling here and there in Singapore. Hopefully it stops raining for both of us!

Pouring rain here...mostly at night which means no sleep for us! But it's not bad here compared to parts of Alabama and other places in the south.

Glad to hear that the 8'' jumps didn't give you any trouble! I'm sure the shorter, easier jumps will help speed your agility skills up :)

Lovely photos, too! I'm not sure whether or not to be jealous - some of our grass is getting that not-so-nice yellow tint, because of the lack of rain generally, but on the other hand I hate being out when it's muddy! I'm happy you had a sunny day to enjoy though :)

You should be able to get out tomorrow. It is supposed to be beautiful out. We are heading to Dash with the Dobes in the morning.
