We are continuing to pretend that it is not snowy and cold and went out again yesterday to enjoy our relatively deserted park! Mom brought her camera and unfortunately, I was forced to pose.
You can tell it was kind of windy from my fur:
The frozen casting pond - no fishing today:
I am leading the way:
Here is the nicely plowed bike path:
OMG, I will not look at you no matter what words you say (treat, grandma, dad, do you wanna) - just get me down off of this thing:
Frozen river in the background:
Can we just keep going, please?
Look - a beaver has been out working on this tree in the dead of winter:
Nothing but grayish-white as far as the eye can see - welcome to winter in central Ohio:
Gotta zoom!

I think you and your mom were very brave and it did look not so snowy and cold either in your pictures. Brrr...
Those wintery pictures are really beautiful and of course you are the Mr. Handsome there. The last picture is gorgeous!!!
Kinda looks like here! It's nice to have the whole place to yourself. Everyone else is too wimpy to get out there!
Boy, that beaver has been busy!
And here we are having a balmy 63 degrees today......ho hum, warm weather is sooooooo nice :)
So tired of all this white stuff. Come on April!
That tree the beaver has been working on was cool.
How did your mom's concert go???
good for you guys, let me tell you the one good thing about the cold weather is you really do get the parks all to yourself ;-), that is the bright side!
Oh Ricky, you make me laugh. Katie often won't look at the camera either, no matter what words I use...biscuit...go to SCHOOL?....treat...WANNA GO??? ...sometimes nothing works. She's so stubborn. Sounds like you guys are related!
Looks like a pretty park...glad you got to go. Funny when we think 20 degrees is warm out!
How did your Mom's concert go?
Sorry - I should've mentioned the concert - it went really well. There were quite a lot of people there but not sold out. Enthusiastic audience. Lang Lang was fantastic! I highly recommend going to see him if he comes to play in your area! And I am happy to report no one booed him or anything!
Well it looks nice from my warm livingroom. LOL Winter is just horrible. But then we wouldnt like spring and summer so much without it. Not that that helps right now.LOL
Im glad the concert went well.
Wow - that IS a lot of snow!! Good thing you've got such a good fur coat, Ricky! :-)
That was very cool seeing the "beaver tree" - we always think beavers are things you see in cartoons and not in real life!
Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
Looks totally freezing! Your wee bum must have just about frozen while you were posing for those pictures!
Wow, look at that beaver go!
Not looking at the camera Ricky? Even when Mom said treats? Is you mad?
~lickies, Ludo
Too much gray!!! So sad you have to go though that. But you always know you are welcome on our mountain!
