tRicky T-Day!
Sara, Oreo and Chewy inspired us to learn froggy legs. I am not one of nature's natural froggy leg dogs! But Sara gave us some advice - like starting with me on a cushion - that really helped me to figure out what my crazy mom wanted. I still need a lure - I am not so stupid as to do the trick without some tantalizing food in front of my nose. Frog legs = food!
Mom says I am the furriest frog ever. Is that a compliment? Does my fur make me look fat?
Heavens Ricky! How does anyone KNOW if you actually DID frog legs? LOL! And yes Sara, they still sell flowbies! At the mall in that store called "As Seen on TV"...
Don't feel bad -- everyone is always telling me I look fat too. I keep telling everyone it's all my hair, I'm a Sheltie. They don't seem to believe me. I think you did great on the Frog legs -- that's about the only way I do tricks -- when treats are involved.
The darker color doesn't help. Mommy can see through Bailey's lighter hair, but has trouble with my darker hair. It looks thicker, but the dark color just makes it harder to see through.
You did pawsome Mr Ricky - It doesn't seem to be a 'sheltie' thing to do froggy legs. That little dude Jackson - he was an expert at at - probably because he had such short legs !
Whoops, it looks like my comment did not post, and I was so very impressed I did not want Ricky to know that I thought he did AWESOME. He does have a lot of hair-those shelties, ;- ). Cricket could do frog legs but it took us a long time, Liz did them pretty good, but poor Breeze has never been able to do them!!!
My name is Ricky (Covewind Little Ricky, AX,AXJ,CGC) and I am a six year old tri-color Shetland Sheepdog. I do agility and I like to learn tricks too! This blog is about all that and some other stuff as well!

LOL. This was the funniest camera angle ever! Your mom has a very tough job trying to see if you are being a frog or not!
I'm afraid Chewy is going to get all hairy like that too. I keep telling Jeff we are going to need a flowbie...do they still sell those?
I agree with Sara...I think you should have gotten all the treats because I couldn't tell if you were being a frog or not!
I love the fuzzy butt look!
Hi Y'all,
That's one trick you should NEVER do without LOTS of GOOD TREATS!
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog

Great job, Ricky! I'm glad you had received lots of treats from your mom. Never compromise if there is not treat involved in tricks, okay!
Oh, I must say that you have a really really beautiful fluffy bum.
Eva loves froggy legs too!
