Yesterday we went to a new metro park built just last year! It is smack dab in downtown Columbus so it is truly a "metro" park. I think they took what my dad called industrial wasteland and created this beautiful park. Neat, huh?
Scioto-Audubon Metro Park
We walked by the river and around the wetlands and through the playground and then we went to the dog park. There was no one there so we had the dog park all to ourselves (the way we like it). I got a big surprise there - we did some agility!! There was equipment for big dogs on one side and for little dogs on the other. (Don't worry - mom checked out all of the stuff before she let me on it). The dog park is right next to the interstate and a railroad track but that didn't faze me at all.We had a great time - it rained a tiny bit but we were lucky - and I can't wait to go back and see more!

Well how cool is that - everything a doggie could want all rolled into one space! How pawsome that they had agility stuff there too! Ii amglad that "city" dogs get to enjoy a park too.

THAT IS THE COOLEST THING EVER!!! I would love to have that by us, you could bring a couple of practice jumps and really have some fun training opportunities. What a great thing to put in industrial area. Ricky looked like he liked it too ;-). Love the panoramic photo, that is cool.
WAY TOO COOL! You are so lucky to have a dog park near you AND with agility equipment as well!! I just know you are going to have so much fun there!!! I bet it was great having the park all to yourself!

Love watchin' y'all run agility! Wish I had a place like that...but then being in such rural areas...I don't think anyone knows what a "dog park" or agility is!

How cool! Loved Ricky's little teeter fly off! I've never seen a park with agility equipment.
That looks like a pretty gorgeous park - and it's awesome that Ricky used the agility equipment without any fuss. He looks so adorable running around the agility equipment there!
Way to go Ricky!!! I cant believe he just got right on that wobblie bridge thing. LOL
Wow, he really knew what to do with that ginormous tunnel and the teeny A-frame, and even that little sway bridge! Looks like he's got some great generalization skills :) Awesome!
