It's sunny and 19 this morning and I think we're going for a walk! This time next week our highs are supposed to be in the 50s! But it's going to rain. Guess you can't have it all.....

Being Silly
Yesterday was a very cold day and I was bored again! So mom put one of my favorite toys - a cardboard toilet paper roll - into the hide-a-squirrel (that Ludo sent to me a long time ago) and I had a blast getting it out of that log! I had already been playing for awhile when mom thought to video me so she didn't get the best stuff but she still thought I was cute (and I was/am cute)!

I've been debating whether to get the hide-a-squirrel toy for Daisy (our coonhound) so she can stay busy on rainy days so now I think I will get one for her b/c it looks like fun!
Great idea! I've never thought to put the tp roll in the squirrel tree. Tibby loves any cardboard (roll or box) too.
Nasty old tree log hiding your cardboard roll from you, but you persevered and got it out eventually
BOL!!! Ricky you are so darn cute! Love those rolls too, my friend. Only a little yap? I'd be barking my food head off, BOL!!!! We don't have many paper towel rolls, but I like those too :) Hope you get that nice weather and get to walk off the energy!

Oh...we have that toy here. The squirrels have run away though. Didn't even think about a TP roll, good call.

Very cute! Katie is such a princess that if she didn't get it out right away she'd sit down and expect us to get it for her!
Too funny. I don't know if anyone around here would work so hard for a toilet paper roll though. I bought that same toy for the dogs and when I showed it to Twist, he ran off with the box instead, tossing it in the air and having a blast. He's a goon!
